Tonight is the night that all my colleagues and myself are going to party and have fun! And guess what, our D&D today has a fabulous theme called "Glamourous Night"... We are all supposed to dress like some Hollywood Star or Celebrities...
I am having headache now on how I am going to dress up etc... But then, I am just so going home to sleep later then decide how to dress up la.. Bought this pair of heels which I hope I can wear despite my ankle injury... "Ai Sui Mai Mia" ma... hahaha...

Last night, we had our dinner with Pastor and the rest of the leaders at Chiang Mai Palace. It was pretty unusual to have a meeting and celebration at a restaurant, especially when it was held for 70+ leaders. However, we had our fair share of fun, laughter and sharing together.
The pastoral staff went through a lot of pains to think of how to get the leaders to mingle together more. So, they planned the seating arrangements so that we cannot change our seats... hmm, sounds very wedding dinner right? Ok, in this way, I think it really forces us to get to know people from other districts? =)
Anyway, we had a few announcements and good news for the pastoral ministry and we were all very much excited about it! And indeed, God has poured in so much growth in our ministry and we really are very much excited about what God is going to do next in our midst. Yes, serious work in the Kingdom of God! yeap...

Jean and Me... I knew Jean way way back in 1996, when I just got to know the Lord. We were on bus 166 back to our AMK homes, and she shared with me a very nice Christian story, "The Room" and also the 4 different personalities. She is a very smart gal and I really love her presence...

My table... of CLs... the lady seated next to me is Jieyun. :) The 2 brothers are Nicholas (forefront of picture) and Jinghe, seated next to Nic.
We were all trying very hard to play icebreaker games... but somehow, the games caused more ice? hahaha... cos I was speaking what Jieyun indicated as "寒语" (han2 yu3), which meant "cold language"... haha... silly me!
Glad to catch up with Jieyun once again! It was really a good time!! :)

Last Saturday, I took the time in the morning to meet up with a long time friend with another long time friend. That will be Alex and BeeNah. Frankly, the main objective is to meet BeeNah of cos... as I haven't seen her for 2-3years le. As for Alex, I do catch up with him on and off... haha... so it is ok not to mention abt him... :p
Anyway I managed to contact BeeNah through facebook and then, I realised that this girl is already married and has a 20-mth old baby girl... mind you, her girl is simply adorable!! But too bad, i didn't managed to see her that day, but one day, I shall see her... :p
We had a fairly good time together and BeeNah is pretty much the same. I missed her suaning too..

After meeting up with BeeNah, I had a bit of free time and so, went to Alex's office and nua... haha... i was so nua that I fell asleep at his office's reception. Silly right... but still, the office's sofa is pretty comfortable man...
After catching a nap, I went to meet my sheep Mikka at Bugis. And the highlight of that afternoon and evening was the NDP Rehearsal. haha... we didn't plan this at all. So 2 of us, went to Fullerton at about 4.30pm and we stood, sat, stood throughout the evening. And finally we saw the fireworks!!! They were simply so mesmerizing!! It was indeed worth the wait! I want to go again this Sat... anybody wanna come with me?? hee...
