Hope Premier League 17 August 2008

I was roped in to do ushering last minute for the Hope Premier League... It has been a long long time since I last ushered... I thought that ushering is actually quite fun. Maybe I should join the ushering ministry since this ministry is in need of people? haha...

So what about the finals for HPL? Hmm, obviously, the team that I supported "FC2024" lost... But it was really a very nerve breaking game man...

But to me, FC2024 will always be the winners in their spirit, in attitude and in love of cos. :)

Howjoo's proposal

Last Sunday was an amazing day where our dear choir leader proposed to his beloved. After his performance at YMS, he declared a special performance to everyone.... haha... well, many silly tears and joy. haha... it was really touching, trust me...haha... cos many ended up in tears!

Catch-Up time with the Ex-Youth Pioneers

I had a very good time catching up with our Church Planter - Ms EeLee Tan, our Youth Pastor - Shirley Melinda, our Tertiary Pastor - Jasmine Poon, our newly appointed Mrs Leung aka Nicole. Although there were not many of us there... but we had a good time of chatting and laughter. Talking about spiritual stuff... the BGR stuff... and the church stuff...

haha... I thought that after not catching up with them for so many years, I will feel weird. But now, I felt so much more comfortable chatting with them. Don't know why, we clicked the moment we sat down and talked. silly me... laugh until I nearly fainted.

But you know ar... we chat so much until we forgotten to take pics together. so.. no pics for this time round.

But seriously, there are so much to do for the Kingdom of God, and it is good to see one by one going out to the missions field, becoming pastors, leaders etc.

I am glad to be groomed with these leaders together because we know that our heart is always for the Lord. :)

More years to go!! Till Jesus's return.

6 days more to Hope Anniversary!!

We have just 6 days and we will be there at Singapore Expo! The last time that I had such a mega anniversary was 5 years back, during our 10th Anniversary. That year, we had our anniversary at World Trade Centre, Habour Pavillion. We had close to 2,000 people that year. It was a marvellous time and I just cannot forget that moment.

Now, 5 years later, we will have another anniversary and this time round, we are having more than 3,000 people at Singapore Expo. It is miraculous!! Who says that God cannot grow His church? Of cos He can!! All things are possible for those who do through His strength!! Though the preparation and journey to this anniversay is tough and there are just simply too many things to be handled, I should say that I am glad to be part of this wonderful journey. To see the church praising and worshiping God together, lifting up Jesus to the highest place, placing Him at the greatest throne and joining altogether in unity!! Spectacular!!!

And I'm getting 4 of my ex-sheep to come for this anniversary. And out of the 4, 3 has gotten back to me and they will be coming!! yeah!! I'm waiting for the last one to revert back! I think I will be super overjoyed if I am to see them worshiping God that day!! I will be blessed by this for sure!!

So pray with me in this, that many whom have left God will turn back to God, many whom have not known God will know Him too!

I am waiting for this day to come!! 6 more days to countdown.. ... .... ..... ...... .......
