November 2009

The month of November has to be credited to be the most exciting part of the year! It is not without valid reason for me to say that.

In fact, the preparation for my overseas meeting started in Feb this year. I was busy preparing and all geared up for the entire event. But without to say, Nov became the month that many last minute stuff happened. It was the month that I work OT most of the time and only to realise that I have been battling quite by myself. I do have colleagues that helped, supported and made the entire event happened. If not for Sandy, I thought that I would have lost the motivation long time ago. I spent a good 8 days at Kota Kinabalu, Shangri-lah Tanjong.Ahru. Trying to run an event in a resort kind of hotel, with the kind of service standard, I don't think I will ever go back again. But sad to say, a nice place without good service is just a nightmare.

Reached Singapore on 21 Nov. It was nice of Alex to fetch me at the airport and bring me home. Went home for an hour's nap and have to wake up and be ready for a colleague's wedding at Sentosa. That was quite a tiring weekend. I was so tired when I reached home that I didn't want to wake up the next day.

Now, back to the office, I gotta tie down loose ends, and work at the office move to the new place at Dhoby Ghaut. The move is this Friday. What's more horrendous is that the company's D&D is on the same day of the move. I think this will be another weekend thatwill burn me totally.

But one thing that I am all excited about is my studies. I went for my orientation last weds. It was just so exicitng to hear from Australia's lecturers and the stuff we need to know and be educated about our assignments. It is a new phase for me. It has always been my dream to do up my marketing degree. Not just for my career but for myself. Tomorrow marks the first day of my term. I don't what to say and how to describe except that this is all such an anticipation after so many years. I bet that studies is not just about that cert that we are getting but it is about how an amazing work that God is going to do through us.

And one more blessing to count... Alex gave me my first ever notebook as my Christmas present on Hari Raya Haji! I was totally surprised! This came because he knew that I needed one for my studies.

And here's a pic of it... Acer Aspire 1410 and it is red in color!! My fav color!

Thanks dear! You've been a huge blessing to me... in everything! Thanks once again!
